 Escape For Your Life 


 "And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay in all the plain; escape to the mountain lest thou be consumed” (Gen.19:17). This statement came to Lot from the mouth of the angels the LORD God sent to destroy the City of Sodom and Gomorrah when their iniquities rose to the brim, and to overflowing. They were full of all sorts of abominations and were given to various kinds of immorality such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality that has now metamorphosed into GAY marriages in our own generation. Drunkenness, lying, stealing, violence, murder (abortion inclusive), self nakedness, and other forms of worldliness were all part of their normal lifestyles. All these made God of justice visit them with conflagrating judgment.

   "And when the morning arose, then the Angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city" (Gen.19:15). Beloved reader, have you been born again? If not, the Lord is compassionately calling on you also today to arise, step out of your iniquities and escape for your dear life because God's divine judgment is about descending upon this present world for Having been terribly contaminated with various unspeakable iniquities which have risen to overflow as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Or what other evidence do we need that can be more striking than men getting married to men and women getting married to women as confirmed in (Romans 1:26,27).  

    "And Lot went out, and spake unto his Sons in law, which married his daughters, and Said, up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons-in-law" (Gen.19:14). In your own case, how do you react to the preaching of the gospel of peace? Does it not sound foolish to you also? Do you not mock or laugh at those that come to preach the gospel of life to you also? Don't you jest at the word of God? Are you not delaying in making a decision; postponing the day of your salvation? Don't you feel ashamed giving your life to Jesus? Whatever may be your answers to all these questions, hear what the Bible says: "For the preaching of the cross (the gospel) is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1Corinth.1:18). In as much as you do not want to perish in the eternal lake of fire after your short period of sojourn in the land of the living, you must act fast now-; for today is the day of salvation tomorrow may be too late. Confess your sins, as many as you could remember. Forsake them all with a vow never to return back to them again. Then accept Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Now pick up your Bible and quickly join a Bible-believing church where you will be receiving regular nourishment of the word of God in preparation for Christ's second coming and eternity of blissfulness. As you do this, unforgettable shall your blessings be in Jesus' name.

Prayer of Salvation

If you want to give your heart to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, please pray this with me.

LORD JESUS, I believe you love me so much and that is the reason you went through pain, rejection, distress, and terrible suffering in the hands of the Roman soldiers.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9, 10 ESV

"9… if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

I believe with my heart the LORD JESUS as God’s only begotten Son and confess with my mouth that God has raised Him from the dead. Thank You LORD JESUS because I am saved according to the scriptures. And I receive the power of the Holy Ghost to live for Christ for the rest of my life, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

The City Of Refuge      "Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the slayer (murderer) may flee thither which killeth any person at unawares. And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer dies not..." (Numb.35:11, 12).
