 Self Deliverance 

     Deliverance is an act of being set free from bondage or from an entanglement that may be physical or spiritual. Spiritual entanglement is much more dangerous and destructive than the physical one because the victims, described in the Bible as the "Captives of the mighty” (Isa.49:25), are being engaged by invisible beings and forces that are ultimately after his or her physical and spiritual destiny. Beloved reader, to be set at liberty or to remain incarcerated depends on you. All it takes is a simple decision which this tract is presently addressing. 

      The Almighty God deliberately created man as a free moral agent so that the latter will be able to choose between life and death while here on earth (Deut.30:15,16). As God will not impose His will on you in making your choice, especially in matters pertaining to eternity, so also Satan can never enforce you to serve him. Hence, those in heaven presently took a decision on a particular day to be citizens of the place; and they worked towards it. Also, those presently languishing in hellfire got there by personal volition. In fact, it is because Satan does not have the power to enforce you into doing wrongs or voting for the hell that makes him employ Deception, Cunning craftiness, Enticement, Temptations, Fear, and Sinful pleasure to draw people to himself in order to ruin their lives and destinies; and eventually, take them to the everlasting furnace at the end of their sojourn in the land of the living. 

     Just as there is no point talking about healing if there is no sickness, there should be no point discussing deliverance and emancipation if there is nothing called bondage or entanglement. Sin is the principal chain with which Satan binds people in order to disallow them from prospering physically, spiritually, and materially. If you are one of his captives, today you can regain your total freedom; provided you are ready to cooperate with God and His Christ (1John 3:8). Sin is not what any wise man or woman, boy or girl should romance with. It is very, unfortunately, that majority of people love to commit sin based on their ignorance of its destructive consequences. SIN and its destructive consequences is defined as stated below:


a) S= Stumbling block

 I = Interrupting

 N = Nourishment                       


b)  S = Silent  

 I = Inhibitor and

 N = Nullifier


(c) S = Spell 

     I = Invasion 

    N = Network


      Apart from open or secret Sin, False doctrine is another fetter Satan uses to bring his victims into very serious bondage here in the world and then have them launched into a hopeless eternity in the end. False doctrine is otherwise known as heresies. It is an embodiment of falsehood masterminded by Satan and preached or taught by his servants: the "Wolfs in sheep clothing" (Matth.7:15), to derail the people of God from getting to heaven and thereby having the latter downloaded into the liquid fire of hell. It is also aimed at the ignorant sinners so as not to ever think of the need for salvation, but to be satisfied with Religion without Righteousness. In most cases, false doctrines or damnable heresies are the established biblical truth twisted and turned upside down to satisfy a selfish purpose. The Bible says "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness" (Romans 1:18). It is the connection that the false prophets and teachers have hypocritically established between their erroneous teachings and some Bible passages (twisted) that makes their heresies very dangerous. They try hard to support their falsehood with some passages of the scriptures (misinterpreted) to convince the ignorant people in their circles.

   The victims of false doctrines or teachings that are presently wallowing in the liquid fire of hell are there regretting now having realized that there is no second chance because there is no repentance in the grave. Moreso, landing in hell, is a journey of no return. Before their belief in falsehood led them to eternal doom, they felt what they were being fed within the religion circle each belonged was true because their teachers who they hardly believed was false was picking all he/she was saying from the Bible. So, when we talk of self-deliverance, emancipation from the entanglement of false doctrine is highly imperative because it is a strong legal ground for the devil to torment and oppress here on the earth and in eternity. 

      You know what; you can have yourself delivered from all these as the Bible declares saying "Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler" (Prov.6:5).       Have you been tightly roped and entangled by a false prophet presently having you under control; "And through covetousness with feigned words make merchandise of you"? The Spirit of the living God through this tract is instructing you now saying "Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction" (Micah 2:10).

       One other area of specialization of the Devil in his subtlety to fulfill the threefold aspect of his destructive missions in people's lives is creating a solid legal ground on which he stands and launches attacks. Satan hardly struggles with people To steal, To kill, or destroy (John 10:10a). It is on the established legal ground he stands firmly as a platform to accuse before launching attacks on the defaulters: (sinners and compromising Christians); making use of ...principalities...powers...the rulers of the darkness of this world, and the spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph.6:12).  

      It should be noted that it is the spiritual attacks that SIN and compromise serve as a platform for that play out in the physical bringing forth sufferings, oppressions, stagnancy, retrogression, sicknesses, poverty, penury, untimely death, and so on. The only way out therefore is (1) Genuine salvation experience, (2) Holy living, (3) Daily self-examination in the word of God, (4) Conservative  Christianity ( _Holiness within  Holiness without)_ (James 4:4) and (5) Close association with other children of God in fellowship (Heb.12:25). The Bible says "And ye shall know the truth (through daily Bible reading), and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). Finally, you must be bold enough to deliver yourself from the hands of false prophets and false teachers making merchandise of your soul by departing from the camp of the spiritually Blind people on their way dancing to hell. Then quickly join a Bible-believing church that will prepare your soul for eternity of joy and blissfulness. As you take to all these divine admonitions, absolute deliverance and everlasting joy shall be yours in Jesus' name.

Prayer of Salvation

LORD JESUS, I believe you love me so much and that is the reason you went through pain, rejection, distress, and terrible suffering in the hands of the Roman soldiers.


The Bible says in Romans 10:9, 10 ESV

"9… if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

I believe with my heart the LORD JESUS as God’s only begotten Son and confess with my mouth that God has raised Him from the dead. Thank You LORD JESUS because I am saved according to the scriptures. And I receive the power of the Holy Ghost to live for Christ for the rest of my life, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
