The City Of Refuge      "Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the slayer (murderer) may flee thither which killeth any person at unawares. And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer dies not..." (Numb.35:11, 12). Here is an instruction is given by God unto Moses by which a murderer or a killer might be saved from being put to death through retaliation at the hands of an angry mob (avengers). This divine instruction given to Moses portrays the matchless consideration and love the Almighty God has for a hopeless sinner who, by His righteous judgment, is not supposed to live.  Self Deliverance       Deliverance is an act of being set free from bondage or from an entanglement that may be physical or spiritual. Spiritual entanglement is much more dangerous and destructive than the physical one because the victims, described in the Bible as the "Captives of the mighty” (Isa.49:25), are being engaged by invisible beings and forces that are ultimately after his or her physical and spiritual destiny.
